Life is full of challenges – let go of what you cannot control & focus on what you can.

Being the new kid on the block was overwhelming. I was to the point where I needed some fine tuning that the dozens of online tutorials & books couldn’t provide. I emailed several local photographers looking for help, offered to second shoot weddings, or just tried to make friends. A lot of emails went unanswered & those that did told me that they only want second shooters that are experienced. It was frustrating to feel alone & stuck. I found a photographer through Google that I hired to mentor me. I did two sessions with her & it was the best thing I did for my business!! Afterwards, I looked at things in a whole new perspective from the business side, shooting techniques, to even what I wanted out of this new adventure.

Now here I am OFFERING mentoring. It’s so amazing & humbling to have questions pouring in from other new photographers & such an honor to be looked to for advice. I don’t want to let anyone feel ignored & hope I can provide some insight to this crazy & rewarding photography gig to those in the shoes I once was in.

One-on-One Photography Mentoring

  • Do you need to get off auto & perfect manual shooting?
  • Do you need a new perspective to give your shots an edge?
  • Do you need to learn to take your images to the next level in post-processing?
  • Or do you need advice on how to run the business side of photography?

These sessions are customized to your needs based on what you feel are your strengths, weaknesses, & goals. We will spend 3 hours together covering the hot topics of your choice, shooting, & more with lunch on me in there somewhere. You will leave feeling refreshed, excited, & confident to start the next step in your business. Our session together will take place somewhere in northern Macomb County.

You will also receive a list of my go-to resources (and some of the best in the industry!) for any photography needs – including print & product vendors, education, business tools, editing products, & more! This is something I wish I had when I started.
